Bowling Pin is a LEGO® sculpture that transforms a familiar sporting object into a refined sculptural form. Stripped of context and scale, the pin becomes a study in balance, repetition and impact, an object designed to be struck, now rendered static and enduring.

Built from LEGO® bricks, the piece highlights the contrast between precision engineering and playful materiality. Its simplified geometry and vertical stance emphasise symmetry and stability, while the visible brickwork reveals the process behind the form. Removed from the lane, the bowling pin becomes a quiet monument to competition, chance and control.

The sculpture works as both a standalone object and as part of a wider collection exploring everyday icons through LEGO® construction.

Each sculpture is hand-designed and built to order by former LEGO® Master Model Builder Brad Charlton Wells.
